Hey all!
Just a few reminders about today. You are more than welcome to work on campus, in the Maker Space (with Kyle), or in my room (with Grayson, because I'm out sick). If you are off campus, please DOCUMENT what you are doing. This could take the form of links, screenshots, photographs, notes, or a written log of how you are spending your time and what you accomplished. We will be looking at this during our conferences on Friday. A few other minor work tasks to consider completing today:

Conference Check Ins As a group discussion the following questions:
Cohort Leader Conferences Before you begin working on your action project guide, please sign up for a conference with your cohort advisor for either Thursday or Friday of next week. The goal of the first conference will be to go over your completed action project guide and make sure your goals are viable and meet the basic requirements. Every other week we will discuss your goals for the week and your progress with those goals. Complete Action Project Guide Work on this, it’s due no later than the start of next Thursday. Starter Take 5 minutes to write down revisions and changes you want to make to your TED talk based on what you saw this morning. Think about organization, audience interest, content, Q&A prep, etc. Split Time between Kyle and Lori’s class for periods 3/4 Group Critiques Get into your critique group. Starter- Cocktail party. Practice your hook 3 times. Make it engaging! Initial Feedback and Critique Scheduling Get into the assigned groups. Do the following:
Once every member has talked through their presentations, you should schedule your critiques for Thursday and Friday. You can do 2-3/day, as the critique protocol should take 30 minutes. Write on the board who is being critiqued on what day. Revise TED Talk Slides and Outline Take your feedback, make it better! Make notecard, refine slides, etc. DUE DATES- ON TIME- HUMANITIES

Remember, you are not required to be in core classes on these days if you are not presenting or paneling. You ARE required to attend ALL ELECTIVE CLASSES. Starter: Send an invitation email to your TED Talk to the following people. Make sure your email includes a polite salutation, the time and date of your TED Talk, your research question, and a brief description of what they can expect at the TED Talk
