Outline Order When you write your outline, I suggest doing it in the following order:
Generally, writing the argument first, then your conclusions, and finally the introduction makes the most sense. That way you know what context you NEED to set up your argument. This holds true for your senior thesis as well. Storytelling With Data Goal for Today = Finish the outline that is due Friday morning before class. FINISH EARLY? Fantastic! Move on and start writing your paragraphs! DUE DATES- ON TIME

Starter 17- Bridge Survey
Take the Bridge Survey linked here if you are interested in being a mentor! Data That Matters Critiques- The WHY
Critique Process Pull up your Data That Matters. Pull up or get out the instructions for Data That Matters. Pass your computer to your LEFT. For the person’s data that matters, you are going to leave TWO comments for each of the following sections on ONE piece of data: Summary- (this is where they describe their chart/data in great and excruciating detail)
Interpretation- (this is where they talk about what the data means, and what we know based on on this)
Pass to the left, repeat the process on the NEXT piece of data (if they don’t have all three, then repeat on one of the earlier two). When you get your paper back, you should have 6 comments on your summar, and 6 on your interpretation. Critique Review Read through your feedback. At the bottom of your Data That Matters, write THREE things that you want to revise. These could be things inspired by what you saw in others’ writing, or things suggested in the comments. Data That Matters- Conclusion This is where you tie it all together, and answer your question. You can reference back to the data you have discussed. See the specific questions on the handout to guide your conclusion! Get this sucker drafted! DUE DATES- ON TIME

Jessica's people will be in ALEC'S classroom today. If you have already conferenced with one of us, then you may choose which classroom you go to. No working in the hall today. Work Priorities:
