Day 8 - Annotated Bibliography Revisions

DUE DATES- ON TIME​​​​​​​​
  1. POL Notes Review + Plan- Completed with signatures. DUE: Tuesday, 1/21, start of class. In basket.
  2. Annotated Bibliography FINAL (8-10 sources). DUE: Tuesday, 1/21, start of class. Google Classroom.

DUE DATES- LATE (-10%)​​
  1. Annotated Bibliography PROCESS CHECK (5 sources). LAST DAY TO TURN IN: Monday, 1/20, by 1:00 pm. SHARE with Lori.

Announcements
  1. NEXT WEEK: Senior Action Project, WEIRD SCHEDULE!
    1. Senior Project Cohorts start TUESDAY. See the doc posted in Google Classroom.
    2. You must be on campus with us 3rd and 4th period- go to your Cohort Leader’s room.
    3. 5th and 6th are available for off-campus or additional work time. You are expected to put in at least one more period of work per day beyond 3rd and 4th on campus- where and when this happens is up to you.
    4. Wednesday will be 9:30-12:00, here or off campus (we will talk about how this works on Monday)

Starter 4- Annotated Bibliography Feedback
  1. If you turned in your AnnBib- Look at the feedback you received from Lori or Grayson.  In your starter, summarize the main revisions you need to make, and how you need to change your process to address this moving forward.  Write any clarifying questions you have about the feedback.
  2. If you DIDN’T turn in your AnnBib- Write a short paragraph that addresses the following questions:
    1. Why was this not in on time?
    2. What do you need to do differently moving forward so that you’re not behind this whole semester?
    3. Is there anything we can do to support your research process?

Conferences
I will be conferencing with everyone about your annotated bibliography, and how you see your thesis starting to take shape. Please sign up on the board for today or tomorrow.

Work Time Goals
By the START of class on FRIDAY….
  1. Completed Annotated Bibliography Notes for AT LEAST EIGHT sources
  2. Found your 9th source
  3. Interviews: ALL interviews scheduled, 4-5 interviews complete. 
  4. Surveys: Have finalized and distributed surveys to multiple groups, have met with Kyle to analyze results, and understand what you need to do with the survey data. Also, close the survey (no longer accepting responses).
