Starter 19- Narrative Type (15 min-ish)

1. Look back at the narrative structures on the Data Driven Storytelling handout (#1-7)
   
2. Which one of these are you going to use for your individual chunk of this? Why is this the best one for your data and thesis?
   

Outline Order
When you write your outline, I suggest doing it in the following order:

1. Confrontation
   
2. Resolution
   
3. Exposition
   

Generally, writing the argument first, then your conclusions, and finally the introduction makes the most sense.  That way you know what context you NEED to set up your argument. This holds true for your senior thesis as well.

Storytelling With Data
Goal for Today = Finish the outline that is due Friday morning before class. FINISH EARLY? Fantastic! Move on and start writing your paragraphs!
