  2. Senior Project Research Phase 2: Research Questions, Interviews and Notes, More Sources.  DUE: Wednesday 10/30, start of class. Google Classroom.

30 minutes for Logistics and Looking Ahead
  1. Research Part 2- If you were unable to find an interview, despite your best efforts, screenshot all of your attempts and insert them into this document.  If your document will be late BECAUSE of the interview, note that in a comment on Google Classroom when you turn it in.
  2. Senior Project Advisor Survey Prep- Put your most refined version of your senior thesis research question, and your current project plan (even if it’s not finalized) in this document. This will be used for faculty to say who they are interested in/qualified to advise for the thesis. 
  3. Check in- where are we? What now?
    1. DONE with preliminary senior thesis research- you should all have a solid working thesis question at this point, and be ready to start the real process of investigation.
    2. You should have some ideas for your project, but this might not be totally solid yet.
    3. NEXT: Thesis research and POLs
  4. POL Overview
    1. These will happen BEFORE we go out on Christmas break. 
    2. Not reflection, more about what you know and what you still need to learn
    3. 1 page brief of your conclusions after the first phase of research
    4. Presentation
    5. Questions from the panel
    6. Discussion and advice of what you need to fill, where to go next in your research

Project Tune Example (40 min)
Complete one project tune for an example- all seniors watch.  Lori forms critique groups based on topics, Kyle runs the project tune.

Project Tune Preparation (30 min)
Students make slides, get notes for their presentation together.

Project Tune Groups (run 2 tunes) (60 min)
