DUE DATES- ON TIME​​​​

1. Action Project Week 2: Goals, Notes, Reflection. DUE: Thursday, 2/16, END of class.

 
DUE DATES- LATE (-10%)

1. Deep Reading Re-dos (anything that scored a 1 or 2). LAST DAY TO TURN IN: Friday, 2/10, END of class.
2. Annotated Bibliography FINAL (8-10 sources). LAST DAY TO TURN IN: ​Thursday, 2/16, Start of Class.  Turn in on Google Classroom.

Announcements:

1. Conferences- I will be conferencing with everyone about your project, and how this test week is going. Please sign up on the board.
   
2. BEHIND? You may not work on your project until I have your Deep Reading revisions and your Annotated Bibliography.
   
3. Study Hall- I will be coming around to you today to let you know if you have to attend study hall this Friday at lunch. This is not optional, it is MANDATORY, and you will be required to attend until I have determined that you are fully caught up with where you need to be in Humanities.  Essentially, if I don’t have your Annotated Bibliography or your Deep Reading revisions at this point, you are in study hall MWF until you’ve caught up.

2. How would you answer your research question right now, in 1-2 sentences?
   
3. What was the most interesting/weird/cool thing you found in your research?
   
4. What’s another interesting/weird/cool thing you learned?
   
5. How well prepared do you feel to start writing your thesis?
   
6. What’s one piece of advice you would give next year’s seniors as they start this process?

You may not start work on your action project or leave my classroom until I have the following:

1. Deep Reading Revisions
   
2. Completed Final Annotated Bibliography
   

Project Week 2- Goals, Notes, Reflection

1. Look back at your REFLECTION and GOALS AND NOTES from the last test week, to remind you where you left off.
   
2. Use these documents to fill out the project description, and to create a DETAILED and SPECIFIC to-do list for today. 
   
3. TO GO OFF CAMPUS, I need, in an email, the day before you plan to leave:
   
   1. Who will be going
      
   2. Location
      
   3. Reason for going
      
   4. How long you will be gone
      
   5. Photographic or other evidence that you did what you said you would do.
      
4. Sign up for a conference over the next few days.  In this conference, we will discuss the following:
   
   1. What is the current state of your project?
      
   2. Who are you meeting with/do you have a mentor?
      
   3. What are your goals for this week?  What do you need to achieve these goals?
      
   4. How can I help you?  What other help or resources do you need?
      
   5. What does it look like at the end of this project, if your project is successful?
