Action Project Week 2- Day 4

2/14/2023

DUE DATES- ON TIME
  1. Action Project Week 2: Goals, Notes, Reflection. DUE: Thursday, 2/16, END of class.

DUE DATES- LATE (-10%)

  1. Annotated Bibliography FINAL (8-10 sources). LAST DAY TO TURN IN: Thursday, 2/16, Start of Class.  Turn in on Google Classroom.

Announcements:
  1. Study Hall- Name on the board? Study hall for you Wednesday!
  2. Computer Chargers- PLEASE RETURN AT END OF CLASS!  And plug in my loaners!
  3. WEDNESDAY- ON CAMPUS. I will be gone on Wednesday (my mom’s having her knee replaced, and I have to get her from the hospital).  Because of that, unless you have communicated a prior plan to be off campus on Wednesday, you must be ON CAMPUS on Wednesday morning during normal Humanities time to work.  Just as a reminder- if you’re in my AM pod, that means you are here periods 1 and 2. PM pod, you have Humanities 3 and 4.
  4. Advisory is REQUIRED- Osprey Week Meetings this week!

Starter
  1. How confident are you, right now, in your ability to pull off your action project in its entirety at a high level of quality?  Rank yourself from 1-4 (1 = not very confident at all, 4 = exceedingly confident).
  2. If you ranked a 1 or 2, what do you need to do today and tomorrow to raise your confidence level?  What barriers are you hitting?
  3. If you ranked a 3 or 4, what has allowed you achieve this level of confidence?  What specific things have you done to raise your confidence level?

To Do List Time
Create your to-do list for today.

Off Campus Work Wednesday
If you plan to work off campus on Wednesday (let's just assume we don't have a snow day for now), I need an email with the following from you.  I will reply to that email to let you know if you have permission or not.  You will still need to attend Stats and Advisory regardless.
  1. Names of people working off campus
  2. Specific list of tasks you need to accomplish off-campus (if you don't have these accomplished on Thursday, I will lower your Action Week grade by 10%)
  3. Where you will be working, and why that location is appropriate for your tasks.

Work Time
  1. Conference with Lori if you haven’t yet
  2. DOCUMENT your progress through images, links, notes, etc.
  3. Get stuff DONE!
  4. Thursday is the LAST DAY I will accept Annotated Bibliographies. GET THEM DONE.
