Sample Paper Discussion Get into a group of 3-4 students. It doesn't matter which thesis you read. Bring with you your reading notes and the thesis you read yesterday. In your groups, discuss the following, and have one person jot down some notes for our debrief:

Starter 1: Independent Work Survey Take the survey linked above! Make sure the click the "send me a copy of my results" button at the bottom of the page before you submit- we'll be coming back to these later! We'll review the results as a class, and then in pairs you'll discuss the following things:

Research Question Refinment Complete the workshop linked above to refine your research question (I won't say finalize, because many of them will still morph as you continue researching...as they should!). Show it to Lori for the final round of feedback before moving on. Research Question Compilation To get us started on choosing your outside Senior Project Advisor, we need a complete list of your research questions and project ideas. Go to the google doc linked above, and follow the directions! Sample Senior Thesis Analysis Choose ONE of the student examples based on the discipline of your own research question. Read it, and take some notes on what you notice about how the paper is structured, and what you notice generally about their thesis. Senior Thesis Examples:
