Project Work: Get It Done!

SENIOR SCHEDULE CHANGE: From now until further notice, your schedule is as follows.  
  1. ​3rd:  All Seniors meet in Lori's room for instructions and check ins.
  2. 4th and 5th :  Mandatory work time to work on your project.  This must be done in Lori's room, Kyle's room, or the Commons.  Our rooms will be open 6th period as well.
  3. Wednesdays:  2nd all meet in Lori's room before splitting into project groups  for 3rd and 4th.

DEADLINES AND BENCHMARKS:
  1. Group Role Meetings- Kyle and I will be meeting with specialized roles on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.  
    1. Tuesday: Meetings with Project Manager, Curator, Coordinator, Marketing
    2. Thursday:  Meetings with Tech, Documentarian, Editor
  2. Class Project Framework- The marketing group needs every person to update the final column with the interview person name and email, so they can send out invitations.
  3. Mock Exhibition (to work out the kinks)- Thursday, 11/16, Commons, 1st period
  4. EXHIBITION- THURSDAY, 11/30, 5:00-7:00pm, Fairgrounds.

TODAY'S TASKS
  1. OUR BIG GOAL:  Be prepared for mock Exhibition on THURSDAY.
  2. Check in with your group, make sure everyone knows what they need to accomplish today for group and individual tasks.  
  3. Check your project role...what do you need to be thinking about?  What tasks and deadlines does this role have in addition to what you're already doing?
  4. Things to Think About
    1. ​Art:  Artist statements should include the following elements:
      1. ​Explanation of you piece, including the message, and the symbolism of elements in your piece.
      2. Discussion of the research you did (yeah, you should probably quote some of it...this is where those research notes can come in handy!) that informed the design and message of your piece.
    2. Experience:  Make refinements, get stats and visuals finished.
    3. Conversation:  Refine questions based on Friday critique.  Get feedback from Lori on debrief/seminar questions if possible.
    4. Advocacy:  Get your displays created!

HOMEWORK
From now until Exhibition, your homework should be whatever you need to do to complete a refined and amazing project.
