Announcements:

1. THESIS RD (complete!) is due Friday at the end of the day.  ​
2. WEDNESDAY- Library/Smiley Cafe. Kyle will be at the library, I will be at the cafe.  Be at one of those places at 9:30! I will email out work priorities for Wednesday that morning. Make sure if you need a ride that you talk to the relevant person (Kyle for library, Lori for cafe). 
3. Panels for 11th Grade Today:
   1. 3rd (10:45)- Abby, Chloe, Roan, James L.
   2. 4th (11:40)- Julia, Cyrus, Charlie
   3. 5th (1:15)- Jude, Aspen, Za, Julia

Clarification Parenthetical Citations:

1. For works with NO AUTHOR and a LONG TITLE, you may shorten the title in your in-text citation. 
2. EX: "Monkey Face Societies: An Examination of 9th Grade Students", would become in the citation, ("Monkey Face" 17).
   

Starter- Transition Example + Transition Assessment

1. Complete the example as a class together- highlight relevant aspects and then answer the questions at the bottom.
2. Then complete the Transition Assessment before moving on to writing time.
3. Spend no more than 30 minutes on this- if it’s taking longer than that, something is going wrong!
