  1. Revised Research Question + Research Part 2 (Interview Notes + 3 more sources). DUE: Wednesday, 11/1, Start of Class (9:25 AM). Google Classroom.

​Announcements
  1. HONORS- Meet in my room Wednesday during 1st period.  Have ALL the reading for Week 3 completed!  Be ready for more specific discussion questions.  
  2. Wednesdays- Period 1 is catch up/work time, or honors meeting.  Periods 2-3 are with Kyle and I. EVERYONE must be here for these hours. Period 4 is catch up/work time/office hours.

Starter 16- Storytelling With Data Example
See the example linked above.  Read the following: Group intro, group conclusion, and scan over the rest to see how it is organized.
  1. What do you notice about the collaborative intro and conclusion?
  2. What do you notice about how this document is organized?
  3. What does your group need to do in order to make your final draft look like this?​

Ensure Access for Group
  1. Make sure every RD is in the document in the order you want them to be
  2. Clearly label each new section with names/topic
  3. Make sure everyone in the group has access to that document
  4. All of the future revisions should be made directly in this document.

Transitions
  1. How much work did you do with these last year?
  2. Review transitions- students read out loud, underline key lines.
  3. Close attention to logical connections
  4. Review Transition Assessment

Work Time
Revise final draft Storytelling With Data
  1. Write collaborative intro and conclusion
  2. Make sure each individual section is complete (intro, body paragraphs, conclusion)
  3. Make sure citations are correct are complete and correct (in text and full MLA citations)
  4. Trade with someone else and proofread/critique with each other

Done with Storytelling With Data?
  1. Finish Research Part 2, interview, etc.
  2. Do honors reading/written response if you are in honors
  3. See Lori for instructions on mounting your College Essay
